Project Architect
This role will involve leading a number of project teams to design and deliver medium to large multi-unit residential, hotel and other similar scale projects. You will oversee projects from kick-off to completion; typically this will include having a key role in liaising with a diverse range of Irish and international clients to clarify briefs, needs and budgets; preparing presentation packages and presenting designs to clients; meeting with planning departments and other project consultants; resolving high level design issues; and managing projects on-site. Broadly, for these roles it is expected that you are on/eligible for the RIAI Register of Architects, and have:
Ideally a minimum of 6 years work experience including 3 years post Professional Practice Examination experience.
Commercial focus, which includes good knowledge of planning and building regulations
Proven design track record in the commercial sector
Strong leadership competency to include experience managing people and teams
Project management and contract administration skills
A keen understanding of the potential complexities of planning and building regulations for large-scale developments
Excellent communication and presentation skills
The ability to gain the trust and confidence of clients by balancing good design with the delivery of commercially successful projects
Attention to detail and strong professional integrity
Architectural Technologist
Having an integral role in each design team, Technologists are involved in preparation and development of planning, tender and construction drawings. Broadly, for these roles it is expected that you:
Have 2-10 years’ work experience, ideally in multi-unit residential projects
Are fully familiar with Planning and Building Control regulations
Have experience of BCMS platform and process
Are proactive in keeping abreast of new technology developments and industry regulations
Are able to manage projects on site, including attending site visits/ inspections, dealing with day-to-day site queries
Possess excellent AutoCAD and Sketchup skills with competence/ knowledge of Revit
Have a track record of working successfully across teams and ability to prioritise different project stages
BIM Manager
The successful candidate will have 2+ years’ experience using BIM within the architectural industry, and full proficiency in Revit. You will be proactive in keeping abreast of new technology developments and industry regulations, and you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining office standards for our BIM projects, and updating and maintaining our Revit library . You will possess:
The relevant architectural/technical qualification(s)
Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of UK and international BIM standards
A clear understanding of BIM Level 2 and the processes associated with delivering a BIM Level 2 project
Previous experience working with current Irish building codes and managing BIM projects
Ideally some experience in team and process management
